For the initial five years of his professional journey, Matt immersed himself in the health and fitness sector before discovering his passion for coding in 2014.

Afterward, he transitioned into a Frontend/JavaScript developer role, but at the conclusion of 2020, he decided to leave his full-time position to dedicate himself to his venture, Frontend Mentor. This platform is designed to assist individuals in enhancing their front-end development abilities through hands-on project experiences that mirror real-world practices.

In addition, Matt serves as a Lead Instructor at General Assembly, where he teaches a part-time course in Frontend Web Development, along with leading various workshops and bootcamps focused on web technologies.

Moreover, Matt joins us as a guest instructor from time to time, sharing his valuable knowledge to guide Zero To Mastery students in mastering the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
