Ankita Kulkarni

Ankita is a Senior Engineering Manager with a wealth of experience exceeding 10 years in the realm of Software Development. She launched her career by partnering with small businesses to create applications, and since then, she has made her mark at renowned organizations across North America.

At present, she is at the helm of two teams, driving innovation in the fintech sector in Canada as a Senior Engineering Manager at WealthSimple.

Before joining WealthSimple, she held the position of Tech Lead at Loblaw Digital, one of Canada's largest e-commerce firms, where she revamped the online shopping experience for Shoppers Drug Mart.

Her earlier career includes roles as a Solutions Architect at Rangle.io, a premier development agency, and as a Lead Developer at IBM Garage, where she played a pivotal role in designing and scaling numerous web and mobile applications for various clients using technologies like React, GraphQL, and React Native.

A passionate public speaker, Ankita has addressed audiences at conferences globally, which has also fueled her love for travel ✈️. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring wines from various regions 🍷 and perfecting her pour-over coffee technique ☕.

Throughout her career, Ankita has been a mentor to numerous aspiring developers, including at a top Canadian bootcamp. She understands the ins and outs of what fosters success and is eager to share her knowledge with you!
